WHO WE ARE?

Climate Governance & Nature‑Based Innovation

Our Regional Footprint

CO₂ Offset Ltd operates across Mozambique and Eswatini, delivering nature‑based climate resilience programmes that strengthen rural livelihoods, restore ecosystems, and support community‑driven development. Our partnerships with district administrators and local institutions ensure alignment with government priorities and long‑term impact.

CO₂ Offset Ltd is a UK‑based climate governance and regulatory‑innovation organisation. We work with rural communities, small farmers, and local partners to build evidence‑based, nature‑positive systems that strengthen supply‑chain integrity and climate resilience.

Our ecosystem integrates:

  • CO₂OC Ltd — digital MRV and climate‑data engine
  • Tecnográria Lda — regenerative agriculture and dairy systems
  • Associação Kudumbana — community engagement and HRDD
  • CO₂ Offset Club — climate contribution and impact platform

Together, we connect regulation, technology, and community‑centred implementation.

Our MISSION

Our approach recognizes the inherent value of nature and its vital role in human well-being.

We recognise the inherent value of nature and its vital role in human well‑being. Our mission is to restore healthy ecosystems through high‑integrity nature‑based solutions (NbS) that:

  • protect biodiversity
  • strengthen rural economies
  • support climate‑aligned supply chains
  • deliver verifiable, measurable impact
Nature-Based Solutions CO2 Offset Club

Sustainable development project in Mozambique, in collaboration with interns from Eduardo Mondlane University and the local community.

We work closely with local communities and indigenous knowledge holders whose stewardship of land and forests is essential for long‑term climate resilience.

Indigenous bear the burden of climate change

CO₂ Offset Ltd operates under a Non‑Profit Operating Model for all grant‑funded programmes. All funds received for environmental and community projects are used exclusively for public‑benefit outcomes and are not distributed as profit. We maintain dual signatory controls, independent oversight, external accounting review, and formal subcontracts with our Mozambican and Eswatini partners to ensure transparent, accountable delivery.

NATURE‑BASED TECHNOLOGY FOR CLIMATE IMPACT

Decarbonising carbon footprint and CO2 Calculator

CarbonOps™

Our digital MRV engine, CO₂OC, provides transparent, real‑time evidence for climate and nature projects. It supports:

  • supply‑chain due diligence (CSDDD, EUDR, LkSG)
  • regenerative agriculture monitoring
  • carbon and biodiversity indicators
  • community‑level impact verification

Why Digital MRV Matters

Green Carbon & CO2 Meter has been designed to calculate and offset our impact on the environment through an automated offset system designed to encourage users to reduce and trade their carbon footprint with sustainable development projects.

By offsetting your carbon footprint, you are supporting the implementation of green carbon technology, forestry, conservation and empower global circular economy.

Our Public‑Benefit Commitment

All programme funds are used exclusively for public‑benefit outcomes. CO₂ Offset Ltd does not distribute grant funds as profit. Surpluses are reinvested into climate resilience, community livelihoods, and environmental restoration across Southern Africa.

Roadmap For Green Carbon Technologies

Get fit & get carbon credit

The main objective of this project is to build a system that measures an individual’s carbon footprint, fight obesity in the UK and helps users to decarbonise or offset using the Carbon Neutral and CO2 Meter, an app that rewards users with a low carbon credit.

This app was built to encourage people to decarbonise by adopting an active lifestyle, e.g., walking and cycling to work. Decarbonising is a free feature that will help to reduce individual carbon footprint, but also an active lifestyle will improve users’ wellness while fighting Global warming.

Governance & Accountability

CO₂ Offset Ltd delivers all climate‑resilience programmes with strengthened non‑profit governance:

  • Dual Signatory Rule for all grant disbursements
  • Independent Advisory Steering Committee providing oversight
  • Programme Manager coordinating delivery and reporting
  • Finance Officer managing bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • External Accountant conducting quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Safeguarding, Anti‑Fraud, Whistleblowing and Procurement Policies
  • Formal Subcontracts with Associação Kudumbana, Tecnográria Lda, and Eswatini institutional partners
  • Transparent Monitoring & Digital MRV through CO₂OC Ltd

This structure ensures donor‑grade accountability and low‑risk programme delivery.

In collaboration

Our partners have more than 60 years of experience in soil management and have made notable achievements and initiatives.

Recognised awards for agroforestry achievements include the development and protection of an area of 20 hectares with unique, native species of more than 100 years of existence.

Nature-based solutions are the only sustainable technology available on Earth that can be integrated to tackle and solve social and environmental problems and capture, store or reuse CO2 from the atmosphere.

Agroforestry and Soil Management

TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE

By working on the ground with locals, we learned about their concerns and efforts to fight the effects of deforestation and global warming

Villagers protect their natural environment as a form of gratitude to mother nature. We must do the same and protect mother nature for a sustainable future.

Our Core Values

Protection of the Earth means being active allies to stop deforestation and promote diversity for healthy ecosystems for all populations.
